Andhra Pradesh Fibernet chairman GV Reddy’s resignation has triggered debate across political platforms, especially among TDP fans. Most party die-hards have reacted with dismay, wondering why bureaucrats were given preference over seasoned, committed leaders.
Speaking for the first time since his resignation, GV Reddy used social media to comment on the recently tabled AP budget. His reaction was measured and analytical, in keeping with his profound knowledge of governance.
Reddy welcomed the budget, which, for the first time in Andhra Pradesh’s history, has gone beyond the ₹3 lakh crore mark. He also welcomed the fiscal discipline of the state, pointing out how the deficit was kept in check at ₹33,000 crore.
Talking about his political position, Reddy clarified that although he has distanced himself from active politics, his respect and admiration for TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu never waver. “Although I have decided to concentrate on my profession, I shall always be grateful to Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu for giving me such enormous responsibilities within a short while. His leadership inspires me even now,” he said.
Concluding with a strong message, Reddy asserted his strong conviction in the leadership of Naidu, and he said, “For Andhra Pradesh’s development and progress, it is important that CBN sir should come back as Chief Minister in 2029. All Telugu citizens who dream of a progressive state need to support him.”
Despite resigning his formal position, GV Reddy’s allegiance to TDP and Naidu never wavers. One TDP supporter noted that although strategic leadership choices at times involve difficult decisions, Reddy’s unquestioning faith is a reflection of his strong belief in the vision of the party for Andhra Pradesh’s future.
