Amaravati: The Guntur district court has granted three days of police custody for Tulasi Babu, the sixth accused in the case related to the alleged harassment of MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju during CID custody.
Tulasi Babu, reportedly a close associate of former CID chief Sunil Kumar, was named in a complaint by Raghurama, who accused him of an attempted murder. Following his recent arrest, the police sought custody to conduct a detailed interrogation, anticipating that it could uncover key information about the individuals involved in the alleged attempt on Raghurama’s life.
Acting on the police petition, the court allowed Tulasi Babu, who is currently in judicial remand at Guntur district jail, to be questioned from January 27 to January 29.
