Former RTC Chairman and known as a close follower of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy Gone Prakash Rao accused that former chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s role in the Adani bribery scandal was exposed. He advised the YCP chief it is not correct for him to lie when the fault is clearly revealed on his side.
However, he said that it is not a big deal for him to deceive the state and also people, who have deceived his own mother and sister. Prakash Rao ridiculed his plea for status of `Leader of Opposition’, as he has no numbers on his side. Stating that it is not unusual for the absence of a recognized opposition leader in the assemblies, he said presently in as many as nine assemblies are like that.
Prakash Rao said that all the people of the country know how Adani rose and alleged that Jagan gave commissions to the CMs of all the states with the money he received from Adani. He said that it is being reported in the media that money was given to CMs in 4 states from the money received through Adani shares, and that Rs. 1750 crore was given to Jagan.
He said that if a case is registered according to American law, then he will have to go to that country, and there is no way for Modi to interfere in Adani’s matter. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy need not be afraid if he has done nothing wrong.
The former MLA cautioned that Jagan should also face problems, as American laws are very strict, and he must face punishment. He demanded that the Federal Bureau of Investigation should investigate Adani.
He alleged that Jagan got release of exit polls conducted by his own pocket organization I Dream only to mislead the public. After Adani’s bribery episode, he predicted that even PM Modi was also unable to come to the rescue of YS Jagan.
