The TDP MLA of Visakhapatnam North, Ganta Srinivasa Rao has been rumored to join either Janasena or YSRCP leaving TDP. However, his recent meeting with the TDP’s scion Nara Lokesh explains otherwise.
Ganta is known for having a huge influence in the area of Vizag and Bheemili. Not just his own MLA seat, the ex-Minister carries a huge vote bank that helps other MLAs and that regional MP directly and indirectly. Due to this, Ganta has been welcomed by any party regardless of his loyalty. After Praja Rajyam, he joined the Congress party and when it lost in 2014, Ganta settled in TDP and won in 2019 from Vizag North. However, he has been moving away from the party meetings and skipped all the crucial workshops in the past couple of years only to leave the party yet again. Many thought that he would join Janasena due to his close proximity with Chiranjeevi but some of his followers hinted about YSRCP since the party is in power.
However, Ganta pushed everyone into confusion as he met Nara Lokesh the other day and held a long discussion regarding his political future with the party. Political critics opine that Ganta who wanted to leave the party took a U-turn observing the craze and reception CBN has been getting in his road shows. On top of that, now Janasena is rumored to have a pact with TDP, and Ganta wants to be a part of it.
