If the obtained reports from the AP Political trends are anything to go by, it is believed that the TDP MLA Ganta Srinivas Rao is all set to shift his loyalties to the ruling party YSRCP soon.
Ganta Srinivas Rao is one of the important leaders in the region of Visakhapatnam and his influence can make a difference or two-three MLA seats along with an MP seat in elections. That is the primary reason, he was welcomed to every party he went to and given cabinet posts or at least MP seats. So the Visakhapatnam North MLA from TDP who is distancing himself from the party since 2019 is now rumored to be leaving TDP. Initially, everyone thought that he would join Janasena due to his close relationship with megastar Chiranjeevi but the latest information reveals that this former MP is keen on joining YSRCP post his birthday in month of December. This is indeed a shocker even to the blue camp as the top-notch leaders like Vijaya Sai Reddy and Avanti Srinivas kept opposing Ganta’s joining for ages.
As of now, Ganta is practical without any post as he resigned his MLA seat as a protest against the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant but theoretically, the speaker of AP didn’t approve his resignation yet. Some say that despite Ganta’s influence, he won’t get nominated posts in YSRCP due to tough competition from other leaders of the same region of Uttarandhra. One has to wait and see the amount of truth in this obtained information until the birthday of this former Minister.
