The TDP Spokesperson Pattabhi has been arrested and detained by the Gannavaram Police for his alleged involvement in the TDP-YSRCP violence riots on Sunday in Gannavaram. The latest reports indicate a shift in his remand place.
TDP’s official spokesperson Kommareddy Pattabhi was produced in front of the Junior Civil Judge after arresting him under many sections that include attempted murder on Wednesday morning. Judge Sirisha after examining the case had asked for the medical reports. The medical exam which was taken at 2 AM on the midnight of the arrested day suggested all was well except for two minor injuries on the hand that might have taken place 24 hours before the arrest. As the medical exams were cleared, the Judge then sent Pattabhi to the Sub Jail remand along with 10 other accused TDP supporters.
At 9:15 PM the other night, Pattabhi was handed over to the Rajamahendravaram Central Jail and the 10 accused from Gannavaram Sub Jail for a longer remand safe stay. None other than the Jail Superintendent S Raja Rao revealed this news to the press about all the details post the arrest of Pattabhi. Meanwhile, the TDP leaders of the state are fuming at the ruling party YSRCP for saving their supporters and harassing the TDP leaders by accusing false cases of them.
