Former Minister Dokka warns Former PCC chief Sailajanath YCP Is A wicked party, Anti-Dalith

Wednesday, April 2, 2025

Just ahead of the former APCC chief and Former Minister Dr. Sake Sailajanath joining the YSRCP, in the presence of party president and former CM Jaganmohan Reddy, former minister and TDP leader Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad warned him that YSRCP is a wicked party and anti-dalith.

He said that as a `friend’ he is advising him to realize that before joining the party they would be very affectionate, but it has no value. Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, who had himself left the YSRCP due to `insults’ just before last year’s elections, said that 74 people have already faced problems in that party and particularly Dalits have no place in it.

He alleged that the party is particularly against the Madigas and felt that it would be better for Sailajanath not to join the party. It is reported that Sailajanath is likely to be declared as the in-charge of the YSRCP in Singanamala.

Meanwhile, there is a special sentiment for the Singanamala constituency in the joint Anantapur district. The sentiment is that whoever wins here, that party will come to power. The same sentiment has been continuing for the last 30 years. When the Congress was in power during the YS regime, Sailajanath represented Singanamala as a Congress candidate. After that, Shamantakamani and her daughter Yamini represented as ministers and MLAs from the TDP.

After that, Jonnalagadda Padmavati won as MLA from the YSRCP in 2019, but she could not even secure a ticket in the 2024 elections. Meanwhile, after the bifurcation of AP, Raghu Veera Reddy took charge as the President of Pradesh Congress Committee for the first time. Later, Sake took over the position after him.

However, later he was removed from the party post after the high-command received complaints about his softness towards YS Jaganmohan Reddy. From that time he was inactive in politics, but became active again recently.
