Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has advised TDP MPs that what YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy will do in Delhi is not important now, what we should do is important. He suggested that they forget  the issue of Jagan and think about the state.

As Parliament session begins from Monday, the TDP parliamentary party meeting was held on Saturday. When some MPs mentioned Jagan’s proposed dharna at Delhi against `TDPpolitics of violence’, an interesting discussion on YCP and the behavior of the party leader Jagan was held.

However, many MPs expressed their opinion that there is no need to think about Jagan and YCP. A minister opined that it would be good to spend the time thinking about Jagan for the development of the state.

MPs mostly concentrated on the pending projects and how to get liberal assistance from the Center. Chandrababu advised the MPs to persuade with the central government by taking the information of various departments from the state ministers. He suggested that the state ministers should be accompanied and meet the central ministers of the respective departments as per the need.

CM Chandrababu directed that the MPs should compete and work as the main agenda for the development of Andhra Pradesh. He gave key instructions to the MPs on the funds to be obtained from various ministries of the Center and the efforts to be made to benefit the state through various central schemes.

Broad coordination was discussed on issues such as central assistance to projects like Amaravati and Polavaram. Each MP has already been assigned the responsibility of some departments to coordinate with the central government.

In this meeting, the CM also added the ministers to the MPs. They discussed on the need to focus on  funds for Amaravati and Polavaram projects, which are the highest priorities of the state. They discussed better assistance to the state under Jal Jeevan Mission and Krishi Singhai Yojana.

They discussed the resolution of pending issues related to allotment of land for various projects in the South Coast Railway zone. They also discussed the steps to be taken to revive the Visakha Steel Plant and the provision of complete facilities to the various institutions granted to the state by the central government as part of the bifurcation assurances.
