For how long BJP will remain a silent spectator in AP?

Monday, November 18, 2024

The political landscape in the state of Andhra Pradesh has changed all of a sudden after the arrest of TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu.

As we all know, the Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has not only extended his solidarity to Chandrababu by having a mulakath with him in Rajahmundry central jail but also made a decision regarding the coalition with TDP for the upcoming general elections. Pawan Kalyan’s unilateral decision on alliance with TDP has not only pushed the BJP into confusion but also made it a silent spectator in AP. Though the Janasena Chief hopes that NDA will be in alliance with TDP and Janasena, there is not much clarity regarding this even from the state BJP.

BJP seems to be still in confusion regarding this alliance as they can’t afford to leave Janasena at this point and at the same time, they are not ready to patch up with TDP as well. The AP state BJP leader Purandeswari has also not given any clarity regarding the alliance. She went on to say that it’s TDP and Janasena’s understanding to be in coalition and she doesn’t want to respond on that. Talking to the media, Purandeswari cleared that the BJP is in alliance with only Janasena. She also said that the proposal made by Pawan was already sent to the bigwigs of the party and they’ll decide whether to go with alliance or to content all alone.
