For the first time in 2 decades, Trisha acted without any make-up in her upcoming film Raangi which is slated for release on December 30th.
In Raangi, Trisha plays a high-spirited and determined news reporter. The director himself revealed that Trisha acted without donning any make-up as the character is organic and raw. She also performed daredevil stunts in the action episodes. As this is a lady-oriented film, Trisha got into the skin of the character and delivered her best performance, said director M. Saravanan. She did complete justice to the role, he added.
Noted director AR Murugadoss penned the script for this film. The story deals with an international issue involving different countries. The film faced several obstacles with censorship and got many cuts in the final output. Lyca Production banner is bankrolling the film.
