Drone Sighting Raises Alarm At Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan’s Mangalagiri Camp Office

Sunday, January 19, 2025

A drone over the under-construction camp office of Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan in Mangalagiri is said to have caused severe concern for security authorities. The incidence happened at 1:30 PM today; the staff approached the Director General of Police (DGP), District Collector and Superintendent of Police, citing such risks for their leader.

This latest development creates a whole list of recent security breaches with the Jana Sena Party chief. During a visit to Manyam, impostors posing as IPS officers created disruptions, and another disruption stemmed from an unscheduled power outage that hit his participation at the Vijayawada Book Festival. The latest drone incident has heightened fears about possible threats to the Deputy Chief Minister.

The Andhra Pradesh Police has begun an investigation to find the origin and purpose of the drone. The evidence will be extracted from the CCTV footage from the camp office and its surroundings.

With growing apprehensions, Jana Sena leaders are demanding better security arrangements to safeguard Pawan Kalyan and prevent such incidents in the future. The authorities have been asked to take immediate action to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the safety of the Deputy Chief Minister.
