Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Janasena supremo Pawan Kalyan is no longer confined to politics just in Telugu states after he declared a war against those who try to project Sanatana Dharmam as an anti-secular movement. In the wake of the recent controversy surrounding Tirupati Laddu prasadam, Pawan Kalyan unleashed a vigorous campaign to protect Hindu sentiments while equally respecting other religions.
During his harangue about Varahi Declaration in Tirupati, Pawan Kalyan indirectly attacked Tamil Nadu’s DMK party Deputy CM and actor Udaynidhi Stalin for his controversial remarks about Sanatana Dharmam in the past. Those who are unaware, Stalin said Sanatana Dharmam is like a virus and should be eliminated. Pawan Kalyan warned that such comments will not be tolerated and those who try to end Santana Dharmam won’t be spared.
Though Pawan Kalyan didn’t single out anyone, it was clearly evident from his speech that he was referring to Udaynidhi Stalin’s comments on Sanatana Dharmam. His harsh and critical remarks have left Stalin’s followers and DMK supporters infuriated.
Now, DMK supporters started to target Pawan Kalyan through their social media handles. Since the last two days, many morphs, memes and trolls attacking Pawan Kalyan have surfaced on X and other platforms.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan further poked the DMK party sympathizers by posting a Tweet about legendary actor and politician MGR, founder of AIADMK party which is the rival of DMK. Pawan’s opinion on MGR irked DMK fans and they have been foul-mouthing and spreading hatred through social media.
Udaynidhi Stalin’s reaction on Pawan Kalyan’s indirect criticism also sparked an online debate.
One thing is very clear that Pawan Kalyan’s comments have rattled the ruling party of the neighbouring state. This is not going to stop just here.
