Devineni Uma slams Jagan Drama To Avoid Assembly

Sunday, December 22, 2024

Strongly refuting YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy accusations against the state government after visiting Vinukonda alleging `politics of violence’, former minister and senior TDP leader Devineni Umamaheswara Rao lamented that it was another drama of the former chief minister to avoid attending Assembly session, begins from Tuesday.

He took serious exception for giving political colour to a clash between two individuals due to personal rivalry, and lamented that Jagan has the habit of doing `politics of dead bodies’ and it was he who collected signatures to become chief minister after the death of his father.

He alleged that Jagan planned to leave for Delhi in the name of Dharna so as to escape from attending the Assembly, as he fears to face the assembly with mere 11 members strength. Moreover, he said that as the Coalition government is getting ready to discuss on white papers presented by Chandrababu Naidu narrating YCP’s disastrous regime, Jagan has no face to face facts and figures.

He challenged Jaganmohan Reddy to participate in the discussion on white papers in the assembly. He recalled that soon after the disastrous election results, Jagan left for Bengaluru palace and returned to gather cockroaches on dead bodies in Vinukonda.

He ridiculed Jaganmohan Reddy’s demand for a President’s rule in the state within 40 days of forming a new government, that too at a time everyone was looking forward towards new development being initiated in the state. He said that it was Jaganmohan Reddy, who had started the era of destructive politics in the state.

Umamaheswara Rao said that the finance ministry is preparing a comprehensive report on the financial destruction caused by Jaganmohan Reddy’s regime in the state and it will expose how much people’s money was looted in the state during the previous regime.

He said that the coalition government under the leadership of Chandrababu Babu will take great strides in bringing industries to maintain law and order in the state.
