As per political sources, a reputed survey agency currently working with the Jana Sena Party has recently completed a ground-level evaluation of its MLAs. This extensive survey focused on public perception, constituency development, and the individual performance of legislators across the state.
However, the findings of the report have reportedly left Pawan Kalyan deeply concerned.
The survey is believed to have flagged several sitting MLAs — especially from the Godavari districts — over serious allegations. Complaints of favoritism, local-level corruption, and even alleged links to liquor and sand mafias have surfaced, raising red flags about the conduct of a few representatives.
This comes as a surprise, considering the Jana Sena-BJP-TDP alliance had achieved an extraordinary 100% strike rate in the last election, with Jana Sena winning every seat it contested. But just a year into power, the survey paints a starkly different picture, revealing a dip in public confidence in some areas.
Reports suggest that upon reviewing the data, Pawan Kalyan was stunned by the extent of the negative feedback. Determined to act, the Deputy CM is said to be preparing to hold one-on-one review meetings with the MLAs named in the report.
Sources reveal that these interactions are likely to take place after June 12, when the coalition government marks its first year in office. While a grand celebration is being planned for the anniversary, Pawan has reportedly instructed party coordinators to schedule follow-up meetings immediately afterward.
This development has sparked anxiety among certain MLAs, who are unsure about the steps Pawan Kalyan might take based on the survey findings. The question on everyone’s mind now is whether the Jana Sena leader will enforce internal discipline or offer a chance at course correction.
