Crucial TPCC leader to divert to the T-BJP?

Tuesday, November 26, 2024

In the midst of internal wars of the Telangana Congress between the Revanth Gang and the senior’s gang, a key leader of the party is all set to leave the party to join the saffron party to pursue his political career.

The leader is none other than the current TPCC Program Implementation Committee Chairperson Yeleti Maheswar Reddy. He was one of the important members who opposed the idea of making Revanth Reddy the TPCC Chief and even protested against the latter on multiple occasions. As the High Command along with the National Head Mallikharjun Kharge is in no mood to remove Revanth, Yeleti is looking forward to defecting to the BJP as soon as possible. He has been skipping all the party programs and meetings post Revath took charge as the head of the state’s congress. He even went in the mid-way of TPCC’s workshop program even though he was the committee head without even intimating anyone.

Sources close to this leader say that he was so upset with the way things were going on within the party after Revanth’s entry and he is in talks with the BJP bigwigs of the state as he was promised a juicy position. Yeleti’s absence is surely a dent to the TPCC provided his following and vote bank in the Adilabad district.
