CRDA will set up a command control room to monitor the rapidly progressing reconstruction work of Amaravati. This center will be continuously monitored to ensure that the work is completed on time. After Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction of Amaravati, the construction work has gained momentum.
Tenders for works worth more than Rs. 50,000 crores have been called and handed over to the contractors, which is progressing at a brisk pace. CRDA is going to set up a special command control center to monitor the ongoing works properly. It will come up on the ground floor of the new CRDA office being constructed near Rayapudi on the Seed Access Road.
CRDA has called for RFP from interested companies for this. The selected company will have to provide technical support and management in the construction of the command control center.
Under the auspices of CRDA and Amaravati Development Corporation Limited, works on roads, buildings, flood water management, infrastructure development in farmers’ returnable plots, greenery development, etc. are being carried out in the capital.
To ensure that the large-scale works being carried out simultaneously are completed on time, a command control center is being set up for coordination between various departments. Here, special responsibilities will be assigned to staff on a case-by-case basis. CCTV cameras that provide quality images will be installed in the areas where the works are being carried out.
The images coming from these will be linked to the system at the CRDA headquarters. Along with this, drones will be used to inspect the selected work area in 360 degrees. The images captured by these will be monitored through real-time monitoring. A special dashboard is being created by CRDA officials with experts.
The Municipal Minister, CRDA Commissioner, ADCL CMD, respective department heads, and lower-level officials will be given IDs to log in to the dashboard. The progress of the work will be continuously reviewed at this center. It is expected that the speed and quality of the work will increase with coordination between officials, contractors, and project management consultants.
