CPI state secretary Ramakrishna slams Chandrababu, Jagan Models Failed In comprehensive Development of New AP

Friday, December 5, 2025

CPI State Secretary K. Ramakrishna said that the models implemented by Chandrababu Naidu and Jaganmohan Reddy, who served as Chief Ministers, have failed in the comprehensive development of New Andhra Pradesh. He criticized Chandrababu for ignoring the development of other areas while chanting about Polavaram and Amaravati in the first five years.

He said that after Jagan became CM, he wanted to press a button and deposit a little money in the accounts and win votes, but he ruined the development of the state. Ramakrishna deplored that there has been no change even after Chandrababu came back to power.

Addressing the 28th CPI State Conference being held in Ongole, he called for action to be taken to formulate and implement an alternative model for the development of agriculture, irrigation, industry, IT, lands and Amaravati.

CPI National Committee leader Waheeda Parveen inaugurated the conference and criticized that the Modi government is destroying the Constitution and democracy and that such a fascist regime has not been seen in a hundred years. She said that the responsibility of saving the country lies with the communists.

She said that Modi is talking about Shining India, but two-thirds of the people in the country are living in poverty. She expressed concern that US President Trump’s interference in the country’s sovereignty has increased, and that Modi’s mentioning of ending the war 35 times after he refused to go to war with Pakistan is like giving India’s superiority to Trump.

Waheeda Parveen deplored that the Modi government is seriously distorting history, culture, constitution and democratic system in the country. She criticized that financial capital is dominating the country and that Modi is working hard to plunder the country’s economy for corporate powers.

She expressed concern that there are serious social and economic inequalities in the country, and said the Left parties have to work hard to overcome these. She said that this is a big challenge for the Communist Party. CPM State Secretary V. Srinivasa Rao and CPI National Leader Ravula Venkaiah also spoke.
