The Telangana Congress had conducted an online poll on X using its official handle asking users to select which governance they preferred from among ‘Farmhouse Palana’ or ‘Prajala Vaddaku Palana’, with the Congress calling itself the people’s government.
However, most X users cast their votes in favour of the BRS governance, which the Congress social media wing had branded ‘farmhouse governance’, with more than 70 percent voters voting for the BRS governance.
They conducted this survey in an attempt to insult the previous BRS regime by calling it ‘farmhouse governance’, but it sent shocking waves among Congress leaders with people calling for the return of the KCR’s regime.
As voting progressed, the trend favoured what the Congress tried to belittle by calling it the farmhouse governance, with more than 70 percent of the voters calling for the return of the BRS led by KCR.
Sharing a screenshot of the Telangana Congress X handle’s poll, in which the more than 70 percent favoured the BRS regime, BRS spokesperson Putta Vishnuvardhan Reddy said the message was crystal clear and the people want KCR government return back, as they found Revanth Reddy’s government is a disaster.
Many X users laughed their hearts at the way the poll boomeranged on the Congress and wanted the details not to be deleted, with a few insisting that screenshots of the Congress debacle be saved.
Realizing the disastrous impact of the survey on the Revanth Reddy’s government, the TPCC president Mahesh Kumar Goud tried some damage control by saying that ‘manipulative surveys’ were being conducted, admitting that the party’s social media team was weak and said the team needed strengthening.
Further, with complaints pouring in from all quarters over the implementation of schemes in the State, the TPCC president tried to blame the administration stating that it was due to the ineffectiveness of a few officials at the ground level, many people were not getting benefits under different schemes.
