Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has become a Pan India leader with the arrest of Pan India star Pushpa (Allu Arjun). He said that while some Chief Ministers are notorious with their corrupt practices, CM Revanth became popular by taking bold decisions.
He alleged that former Minister KTR himself has admitted his mistakes by giving various statements on the Formula E car race case. He was angry that KTR was talking nonsense on the Triple R project. He said that he had explained the financial situation of Telangana state to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari and given some suggestions so that a project like Triple R in a debt-ridden state would not become a trap.
He revealed that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy requested the Union Minister that the Center to take up the Triple R project and it was the Union Minister who advised them to first acquire land for this project
Kiran Kumar Reddy said that the Congress party has no intention of looting. He made it clear that they do not have the habit of looting, hiding or escaping from mistakes. He alleged that it was during KCR’s regime that the estimate of every project was increased.
He deplored that having an irresponsible opposition in the state is not good for the government and the people. He wants the opposition parties to show the right path to the rulers. He lamented that BRS leaders are trying to smear the Congress party if they wake up in the morning.
The MP questioned why the BRS leader is silent even after giving KCR the status of the leader of the main opposition. He advised KTR, Kavitha and Harish Rao to form a good opposition even now. He said that BRS leaders are confusing farmers on farmer insurance. He said that a multiple window system was created during Congress rule.
As KCR will not come out anyway, the MP suggested that it would be better if Harish Rao, KTR and Kavitha played an effective opposition role. He wanted BRS leaders to be enlightened at least in 2025. He was angry that BRS is spreading false propaganda on the issue of farmer’s security. He said that due to KCR’s ill-considered decision, Rs. 22,000 crores were given to the ineligible people in the Rythu Bandhu.
