Mahabubabad Congress MP Balaram Nayak accused that the Narendra Modi-led government at the Center has given `zero’ to the Telangana state. He reminded that Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka had called BRS, BJP and Congress MPs to attend the all-party MPs’ meeting to provide complete details about pending projects with the Center, but he deplored both BJP and BRS kept away from the meeting on flimsy grounds.
He said that BJP and BRS leaders are repeatedly questioning that CM Revanth Reddy is going to Delhi. Balaram Nayak explained that every time Chief Minister and Telangana ministers are meeting several union ministers in Delhi requesting them on various projects related to the state.
If the BJP is keen on the development of Telangana, he was asked by both union ministers from the state Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay Kumar not attend the meeting convened by Vikramarka? He accused that both the BJP and BRS are one party and are playing dramas together.
He said that expected that someone from both the BJP and BRS parties would come to the MPs meeting, but they proved that both the parties do not care about the problems of the people in the state. He criticized that the leaders of both the parties have no other work except conspiring against the Congress.
MP Balaram Nayak deplored that they are remaining silent when injustice was done in the union budget by not making allocations to the state. He was furious that the BJP leaders are blaming CM Revanth Reddy.
He said if a meeting is held in Praja Bhavan, the officials will also come and it will be an opportunity for the MPs of all parties to get complete details of various pending projects with the center. He was angry that the central government is making threats that new loans will not be given if the interest is paid on the loans taken during the previous BRS government.
He made it clear that they do not have any hesitation to go to the house of Union Minister Kishan Reddy and discuss the development of Telangana. In fact, he recalled that earlier they went to his home and discussed several issues.
MP Balaram Nayak challenged BJP MPs to answer how many funds were allocated for other states and how many allocations were given to Telangana in the Union Budget? He questioned why the Sileru project, which provides electricity to Telangana, was given to Andhra Pradesh?
