Famous Telugu comedian Ali who has been supporting YSRCP for the past couple of years has finally got the fruits with YSRCP’s latest update.
Its chief YS Jagan made Ali the Electronic Media Advisor the other day and made the actor happy.
Even before the commencement of 2019’s general elections, actors like Pridvi Raj, Posani Krishna Murali, and Ali campaigned aggressively for YSRCP in many areas and they were expected to be given good posts. While Posani didn’t expect any posts, Pridvi was made TTD Chairman but was later ousted and joined Janasena. Ali however has been aspiring to be an MP and got tough luck in the two shuffles of Jagan’s cabinet and it was rumored that the Yamalela fame would shift his loyalties to ex-best friend Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena party.
In the later years of forming the government, YSRCP was rumored to send Ali to at least Rajya Sabha but those comments went in vain. Without any further delay, YCP in an effort to save Ali made him the advisor of Electronic Media on par with cabinet rank for the remaining two years of its term and made him happy.
Ali has got a lot of interest in Politics for ages and maintained relationships in TDP earlier, expecting MLA seats for his own constituency of Rajahmundry. As there was no positive response from Chandrababu Naidu, Ali finally went to YSRCP and waited patiently to pursue his political dreams.
