CM Revanth Reddy warns of strict Action Against officials over Delay In schemes Implementation

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy warned  that  Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and Heads of Departments (HoDs) of all departments should give up their neglectful attitude in implementing the government schemes and development works. He reminded the officials that the government will not tolerate if any official found dereliction of their duties.

The Chief Minister expressed dissatisfaction that some officials were found under performing and remained not changed their working style even after two years of coming the people’ s government  to power in the state. Directing the officials to shed laziness, CM Revanth Reddy emphasized that the top officials should perform their duties in tune with the government’s goals and objectives by coordinating with other departments.  

The CM suggested that the officials should not take decisions on their own and bring a bad reputation to the government. The officials should strive for the development of the state as  well as the wellbeing of all people of the state, the CM noted.   He held a special meeting with the CMO secretaries and Chief secretary Ramakrishna Rao at his residence.

Instructing the officials to work more actively in reaching the scheme benefits to the people, the Chief minister  ordered Ramakrishna Rao to seek  reports from all the secretaries of all the departments regularly and review the progress of the works. The CMO officials were also instructed to bring to his attention the measures required to be taken up by the government in the  implementation of the schemes and development programmes expeditiously .

Reviewing the status of the central funds,  CM Revanth Reddy  instructed the secretaries of all departments to immediately take action to get the release of pending central grants and funds  under centrally sponsored schemes. The CM suggested that priority should be given to those schemes in which the state share is already  paid  and waiting for the release of pending central funds .

The Chief Minister also ordered the Chief Secretary and CMO officials to submit reports to him every week on the departments under their jurisdiction and he will review the progress.
