Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has announced that he will build a Future City that will make New York forget, asking for 10 years. While laying the foundation stone for the Bharat Future City Development Authority (FCDA) building and the construction of Greenfield Radial Road-1 in Meerkhanpet, Ranga Reddy district, he asked shouldn’t we do things that will make the world talk about us even after 70 years?
He asked how many years we will talk about New York, Singapore and Dubai? He expressed his deep anger that some people are deliberately politicizing Future City and criticizing Future City only for real estate. He was angry that they are spreading misinformation that he is having lands here. He emphasized that Future City is being built for future generations.
“On that day, Quli Qutub Shah laid the foundation stone for the city of Hyderabad. Secunderabad was developed during the Nizam’s era. After that, Cyberabad and Silicon Valley were developed in the united state”, he said, adding that there is a need to build a Future City for our future generations. He said that the city should be developed so that world cities can discuss Bharat Future City.
“Telangana is the only state in South India that does not have a port. We are going to set up a dry port on the Machilipatnam Greenfield Highway from Future City. The central government has agreed to set up a bullet train from Future City to Amaravati. We are going to set up an underground power line in Future City,” said CM Revanth Reddy.
He clarified that their goal is to have Fortune 500 companies in the world in the next ten years in this Bharat Future City, and that the government is making plans to make Future City a great city. He asserted that they will complete the Future City Development Building and Skill University in December.
“Then we will come here three times a month and conduct activities from here. Even if anyone in the world comes to invest here, we will sit and talk in the Future City Development Authority office. We will bring the world here”, he added.
Revanth Reddy suggested Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and Sridhar Babu to allocate 10 acres here for the construction of Singareni Corporate Office and it would be completed by December 2026.
