Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has strongly refuted BRS objections against participation of his elder brother Tirupati Reddy in government programmes organized in his constituency and made it clear that there is nothing wrong in it. He said that brother is attending to public needs when he was busy with official works as Chief Minister.
In recent times various videos like distributing Kalyana Lakshmi cheques himself, treating as chief guest keeping aside the collector violating protocol and students welcoming him on a row have gone viral on social media. The leaders have been questioning in what capacity Tirupati Reddy is participating in government programs.
Meanwhile, CM Revanth Reddy, who has been silent on this issue for so many days, responded on the Republic Day. In the wake of the launch of four welfare schemes in the state, he made sensational comments while addressing a public meeting organized on behalf of the government.
He questioned what is wrong for his brother to participate in government programs? He clarified that since he is busy with state work, his brother Tirupati Reddy is taking care of the work related to the constituency. He said that Tirupati Reddy is always available to the people of the constituency because he is immersed in governance responsibilities.
Revanth Reddy clarified that there is no need to have a post to serve the public and his brother is working to solve the problems and difficulties of the people of the constituency without any status. The Chief Minister alleged that in the previous government, KCR took one post, KTR, Kavitha, and Harish Rao each took one post and looted the state.
But now, without any post.. he reminded that his brother Tirupati Reddy is serving the people, who is going to them like a family member whenever the people of Kodangal constituency have any small need. He said that his family have bought a place for a bus depot in the constituency and also given lands for schools, besides his family has supported many people financially.
Revanth Reddy once again made it clear that if he is busy in the development programs of the state, Tirupati Reddy will be available to the people of the constituency. To give a clear and strong signal that his brother will be his representative in all official programs, his brother Tirupati Reddy was seen sitting next to Chief Secretary Santha Kumari throughout the program.
