Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has made it clear to the officials that the SLBC work should not be delayed even for a single day. He said that this project is very crucial not only for Nalgonda district but also for the Telangana state. He held a review meeting regarding the process of resuming the SLBC work. Irrigation Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy along with engineers and officials participated in the meeting.
On this occasion, Revanth Reddy suggested that the services of Singareni experts should be used in the excavation of the tunnel. Revanth Reddy said that there will be an opportunity to provide water without any cost through the SLBC project. He ordered that the tunnel should be completed by December 9, 2027.
The Chief Minister clarified that the government is ready to provide funds to SLBC through the green channel. He suggested that the contracting company should prepare equipment for the tunnel work. Revanth Reddy clarified that he will not accept the delay of the contractor company’s work even for a single day.
He said that the SLBC is expected to be dedicated to the public on December 9, 2027. He instructed the officials to pay special attention to the forest department’s permissions. Revanth Reddy instructed the officials and engineers to provide information on the problems from Srisailam to Akkampalli. He revealed that if the details are provided, the problems will be resolved in a single meeting.
On the other hand, Revanth Reddy instructed the officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply for the SLBC works. Honorary Advisor Lieutenant General Harpal Singh, Government Advisor Adityanath Das, and Colonel Parikshit Mehra participated in the review. He directed the officials on various issues in the meeting. Revanth Reddy clarified to the officials that there should be no delay in the works.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister recently criticized the previous government for putting aside the SLBC tunnel works for ten years and the accident in the SLBC tunnel due to the ten-year delay. He made it clear that the SLBC tunnel work will be completed despite any obstacles.
