CM Revanth Reddy Conducts Surprise Inspection Amid Heavy Rains

Hyderabad: Amid continuous heavy rainfall in Hyderabad causing sewage water to flow on roads in low-lying areas, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy conducted surprise inspections in Ameerpet along with Hyderabad Police Commissioner Ranganath. The CM visited Gangubai Basti near Maitrivanam colony and examined the drainage system in Buddha Nagar to assess the situation firsthand. During his visit, he engaged with local residents to understand their concerns and assured prompt action to resolve the issues.
Commissioner Ranganath instructed Hyderabad police and civic staff to remain on high alert and be fully prepared for flood relief operations. He emphasized the need for immediate clearance of waterlogged areas to prevent further disruption and health hazards.
Authorities also advised residents to stay away from manholes and electric poles to avoid accidents during the rainy conditions. Citizens were urged to limit outdoor movement and venture out only when absolutely necessary to ensure their safety during the ongoing rains.
