CM Jagan has released Rythu Bharosa funds to Tenant farmers

The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan has virtually released the funds towards the Rythu Bharosa scheme today.

For the first time ever, the Andhra Pradesh government has extended the funds even to the tenant farmers along with the actual cultivators. As per the scheme, the eligible SC, ST, and Minority tenants along with actual cultivators of endowment and forest lands will get assistance of 7500/- each from the government. Accordingly, the government has deposited 109.74 crores towards the tenant farmers in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The land owners in the state will get a total sum of 13,500 rupees per year as an assistance towards the investment which includes 6000 from the central government and 7500 from the state government. In total, the government claims that the Rythu Bharosa scheme has provided investment assistance of 31000 plus crores to more than 50 lakh families.
