Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu warned the police that new crimes are being committed under the guise of politics to create unrest in the society. The CM, along with Home Minister Vangalapudi Anita and DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, attended the Police Martyrs’ Day program held at Mangalagiri APSP Battalion.
On this occasion, he was angry that fake campaigns are being made with political conspiracy and caste and religious differences are being created. He expressed concern that social media has become a big challenge.
The Chief Minister said that some people are committing personal harm. He said that he is seeing many people that they are suffering due to difficulties.Stating that he has given complete freedom to the state police, he asked them to be vigilant against criminals and anti-social forces. He advised that there should be no compromise on law and order in the state.
He asked the police to stand by the government and the people and he assured that he will stand by them. Stating that criminals are updating, the CM cautioned them that if we are not ahead of them, we cannot control them. He said that we must be efficient to prevent all forms of terrorism.
CM Chandrababu said that the reason for Google’s investments in Vizag is trust and investments are coming with trust in peace and security. He asked them at the forefront of technology. If crimes are to be committed, he said that terror should run in the hearts of criminals, and the police should take action in that direction.
The CM said that they are providing insurance to the police and doing many welfare programs. He said that free health insurance will soon be given to the home guards. He deplored that the previous government had destroyed the state and his government is rebuilding it. He said that surrender leaves along with DA are being given to the police.
CM Chandrababu said that 6100 constables have been appointed in the state. He said that all departmental work will be done and expressed hope that AP should be number 1 in the country by 2047. He said that this is possible only if there is all kinds of security. He said that his government will move forward with the spirit of the sacrifices and martyrdom of the police. He expressed concern that 192 people were martyred across the country last year.
