Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is ready to travel abroad once again with the aim of attracting investments to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The schedule details have been officially released to this extent. It has been revealed that the Chief Minister will travel abroad from 22 to 24 of this month. CM Chandrababu will visit Dubai, Abu Dhabi and UAE.
It is reported that Ministers TG Bharat, BC Janardhan Reddy and several officials will accompany Chief Minister Chandrababu. Government sources explained that this visit has been undertaken to invite investors to the CII Partnership Summit to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14 and 15.
Officials say that investments will be invited in various sectors including real estate, building construction, logistics, transportation, finance, services and innovations. This visit is considered crucial for the development of various parts of the state including the capital Amaravati.
Chandrababu Narayan has already visited Singapore and Davos to steer AP on a development path. AP Municipal Minister Narayana and several other top officials are currently touring South Korea. They are holding a series of meetings with government officials and industrialists of that country.
On the other hand, the coalition government is preparing for a key event in the capital Amaravati. In the presence of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, the foundation stone for the construction of state headquarters of 12 banks was laid on the same day. After the bifurcation of the state, there are no separate headquarters for banking activities related to Andhra Pradesh.
At present, these are being managed through regional offices in Vijayawada. To solve this problem, the previous government allotted land to various banks on the N10 road near Uddandarayunipalem. 3 acres were allotted to State Bank of India, 2 acres to APCOB, and 25 cents (quarter acre) of land each to other banks like Canara Bank, UBI, Bank of Baroda, and Indian Bank.
