As part of the ambitious P4 program undertaken by the state government, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that he will adopt 250 golden families in Kuppam constituency. To this end, the officials presented the #IAmMargadarsi badge to Chandrababu.
The Chief Minister held a Zoom conference with ministers, public representatives, district collectors and officials on the P4 program from the State Secretariat.
The Chief Minister unveiled the #IAmMargadarsi poster at the event. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “I am adopting 250 families from Kuppam constituency. It is my responsibility to develop those families in all ways. I am not just calling for leaders to come forward. I am adopting 250 golden families to practice and demonstrate”.
“I will formulate a plan for the development of these families. I am a leader. No such program has been undertaken anywhere in society to reduce the gap between the rich and the poor. In the past, villages were developed with the spirit of Janmabhoomi. Now, we have taken plans to implement P4 to help the poor”, he added.
CM Chandrababu said that they have designed this program to be an example for the country. “Those registered as golden families as part of P4 should develop in all ways. My idea is that today’s golden families should become tomorrow’s guides. Those who receive help will come forward to help”, Chandrababu said.
The Chief Minister appealed that people should be made aware of this program. If it can be implemented successfully, he is confident that this program will remain a reality. “Those who have the goal of scaling higher peaks are lagging behind due to poverty. If they are helped, they will create miracles. Having done many programs, the P4 program is very close to my heart,” Chandrababu said.
“The first phase of P4 will start from August 15. To make this program successful, everyone from me to the MLA should work. From the Chief Secretary to the field level employee, efforts should be made. Some districts should work even better in identifying golden families… guides. For this, efforts should be made at the village and ward secretariat levels in the next 15 days. MLAs should pay special attention,” the CM suggested.
