Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that Visakhapatnam in the state is developing like Mumbai. He believes that this area will develop as an IT hub with the arrival of giant companies like Google and TCS. He said that thousands of IT jobs will come to Visakhapatnam by 2028 and Visakhapatnam will develop as a special city in the future.
After the agenda items in the cabinet meeting, he discussed various issues with the ministers. He has decided that the ministers should take responsibility for approving investments as well as ensuring that the institutions are grounded.
Chandrababu Naidu directed the relevant department minister to coordinate so that the AA institution being approved in the cabinet is grounded. He suggested that while bringing huge investments to the state with great effort, the fruits of these efforts should be explained to the people politically as well.
Chandrababu clarified that Visakhapatnam will develop into a metropolis in the east like Mumbai is in the west. He said that Visakhapatnam will be recognized as one of the MegaCities in the next 15 years. Currently, there are 4.7 lakh people working from home. He believed that this number should be increased to 10 lakh. He suggested that issues such as saving the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and achieving the railway zone should be taken to the people.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan praised the arrival of the Google Data Center in Visakhapatnam. Pawan expressed his support for the CM’s views on changing the names of panchayats and changing the staff pattern. Chandrababu commented on this occasion that even though he served as the Chief Minister for 15 years, the investments made in the past were not as fast as the investments made in the last 15 months.
