CM Chandrababu launches new MEPMA initiatives under 1 lakh Women Entrepreneurs Programme

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu  launched eight new and innovative initiatives being implemented by Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas (MEPMA) during the review meeting on 1 Lakh Women Entrepreneurs Programme with SERP and MEPMA.

WhatsApp Services – 1st time, the following services are being extended to SHG women directly by the Government in a transparent manner through Mana Mithra: Know their Self-Help Group (SHG) details, SLF / TLF/ ZUS details & OB Members details, SHG Savings details, SHG Loan details, Download SHG Audit Report, MEPMA Staff details and provision to enrol in Pragnya Virtual Training Academy

Pragnya Virtual Training Academy – AI based e-learning with customized courses (Digital & Financial Literacy) for SHG members based on their activity and level of awareness with option to learn at their preferred time and pace.

MEPMA One-Year Activities Magazine – showcasing MEPMA one one-year activities

AVANEE Branding Manual – an e-Commerce Initiative to showcase MEPMA SHG products with uniform branding, packaging across all e-commerce platforms.

LHP cell Promotional Booklet – To disseminate the information pertaining to the available Livelihood opportunities up to the community level

Prerana Sakhi Booklet – To showcase the success stories of SHG entrepreneurs and to create motivation for fellow SHG women.

LEAP Booklet –  Showcasing the Livelihood audit of SHG enterprises conducted by India SME Forum in Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, and Tirupati Municipalities.

The Chief Minister presented the Jumbo Cheque for Rs. 1.25 crore under the PMFME (Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises) scheme, SHG beneficiary Smt. Madhuri from Mangalagiri Tadepalli Corporation for the loan sanctioned by SBI for the enhancement of the dairy unit.

Minister for Municipal Administration Dr. Ponguru Narayana participated through virtual mode and Principal Secretary MA&UD  S. Suresh Kumar, HCM Secretary Pradyumna, MEPMA Mission Director N. Tej Bharath, Additional Mission Director, SMMs, SMC, SHG beneficiaries, MEPMA HO staff participated in the event.

The programs showcased MEPMA’s continued commitment to women’s empowerment, urban poverty alleviation, and sustainable livelihood promotion through innovative digital and training initiatives.
