CM Chandrababu inaugurates CRDA headquarters building, says building Best Capital, Green Field Capital

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu revealed that they are building the best capital and a green field capital. He recalled that while inaugurating the CRDA headquarters building in the capital Amaravati, he had doubts about the need for land for the construction of the capital and whether the capital could be built according to the plans.

The CM revealed that the construction of Amaravati had started with the experience of building Cyberabad, and that the farmers of Amaravati had shown him the way while he was waiting for land. He said that after the bifurcation of the state, AP was formed as a state without a capital.

He deplored that the then UPA government at the center had formed a committee to decide where to put the capital. He said that the division was done without even mentioning the issue of where to put the capital. He said that the state was divided when there was no space for the capital. He criticized the then UPA government for setting up a panchayat that did not exist in the capital.

“You, I and the people of the state have seen how much they have suffered for the mistakes made in the past. From now on, the NDA government should be permanent. Visakhapatnam is going ahead of Amaravati. During the foundation stone laying ceremony of Amaravati, soil and water were brought from sacred places”, he said.

Otherwise, he assured he will speak with them. He asserted that “I will not forget the farmers.. If I forget, it is as if I have forgotten the sacrifice:,  On this occasion, the CM cordially greeted the farmers who gave their lands. The CRDA building was constructed on seven floors (G+7) in an area of 3,07,326 square feet in 4.32 acres. All the state offices affiliated to the state municipal and urban development department, including CRDA, will be included in it.

The building has been designed with the letter ‘A’ elevation in front to reflect the capital Amaravati. 4 more buildings have been set up next to the head office in a total of 8 acres. Each building is in an area of 41,500 square feet. For administrative convenience, the construction of buildings has been undertaken so that all the HODs are located in one place. Conference halls have been set up on the first floor of the CRDA building.

The CRDA is located on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th floors, and the CDMA Municipal Directorate is located on the fourth floor. Amaravati Development Corporation Limited is located on the sixth floor, and an integrated command control has been set up on the ground floor. An integrated command control room is being set up on the ground floor of the CRDA headquarters.

CCTV cameras will be installed in the areas where work is being done in the capital and the feed from these will be connected to this center. In addition, there is a possibility of monitoring the scenes filmed by drones from here.
