CM Chandrababu Asked Telugu people creating wealth Abroad should Not Forget Their Birthplace

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made it clear that the Telugu people who are settling abroad and creating wealth should not forget their birthplace. As part of his five-day visit, he participated in the Telugu Diaspora meeting held at the One World International School premises on Sunday. Telugu people living in Singapore as well as Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia attended the program.

As soon as the Chief Minister reached the premises, the Telugu people welcomed him with cheers. The program began with the song ‘Maa Telugu Thalli’ and continued in an atmosphere full of Telugu. Speaking, Chandrababu said that the Telugu people have embraced the changing conditions in the world. He recalled that the reforms he had brought during the combined state of AP changed the lives of the people.

Chandrababu said that Telugu people have settled in more than 120 countries around the world. He said that in many countries of the world, the income of Telugu people is higher than that of locals. He recalled that people like Satya Nadella are CEOs of leading companies like Microsoft. He explained that Telugu people are serving at a global level in various fields.

The Chief Minister said that there are currently 40,000 Telugu people living in Singapore. He said that they should contribute to the development of their homeland and they should not forget their birthplace. Chandrababu called on Telugu people living abroad to invest in the development of India, especially Andhra Pradesh. He wanted to help the poor there.

“You have grown only through the taxes paid by the people of India. So now it is your responsibility to contribute to the development of your homeland,” he said. Chandrababu said that no matter which country he goes to, he will definitely meet the Telugu people there.

He said that their role in the development of the state is very crucial. With this message, Chandrababu reminded the Telugu people around the world of their responsibility towards their homeland.
