CM Chandrababu Accorded Grand welcome on His Arrival on A Five-Day Singapore visit

Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was accorded a grand reception on his arrival to Singapore on Sunday early morning, on a five-day visit.  Local Telugu people dressed in traditional attire welcomed the CM’s delegation with traditional dances.

Chandrababu will participate in several key meetings aimed at inviting investments and industrial development during this visit. Local Telugu people, industrialists, NRIs, as well as AP NRT representatives gave a grand welcome to the Chief Minister.

Singaporean Telugu families and women who gathered in traditional attire were a special attraction. In particular, children gave a hearty welcome to the Chief Minister by performing Kuchipudi dance.

On the occasion of the Chief Minister’s arrival, the entire hotel premises were filled with the hustle and bustle of Telugu families, which stood as a testament to our culture and traditions. As if coming for an auspicious occasion, they stood with great discipline and shouted, “Jai Babu!” Our Indians in Singapore extended a warm welcome that fully reflected our Telugu culture and traditions.

Chandrababu Naidu will participate in 29 meetings during his five-day visit. “Singapore is one of our development partners. The Telugu diaspora here is also playing a key role in the development of the state. During this visit, we will meet ministers, industry leaders and Telugu diaspora Indians. This is a great opportunity to introduce ‘Brand Andhra Pradesh’ to the world, showcase new policies and build long-term partnerships for comprehensive development,” the Chief Minister said before leaving for Singapore.

Official sources said that Chandrababu Naidu will participate in a total of 29 meetings as part of his visit to Singapore. In addition to government-level meetings, discussions will be held with Singaporean industrialists, representatives of tech companies and organizations related to smart city development. The main purpose of this visit can be said to be attracting investments necessary for the development of the state and exploring new opportunities.

On Sunday afternoon, the Chief Minister will participate in the ‘Telugu Diaspora’ meeting organized by the Pravasandhra Association living in nearby countries including Singapore. They will be invited to invest in AP. The CM will ask industrialists to become partners in the P-4 program undertaken by the state government for poverty eradication.

Telugu industrialists from many countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines and Thailand will attend. Representatives, investors and employees of various companies will participate in this. About 1500 representatives will attend the meeting held under the auspices of APNRT.

Issues such as making Telugu people living in various countries partners in the development of AP will be raised. The implementation of necessary plans through NRIs to increase exports from AP to many countries will be discussed.
