The ongoing “Praja Vedika” program held at the TDP central office in Mangalagiri witnessed many people present their serious allegations against YSRCP leaders while bringing into public view various burning issues.

One of the major complaints came from Irala Mandal in Chittoor district, where residents accused a YSRCP associate, Niranjan, of illegally collecting money from devotees under the guise of representing a temple trust. Additionally, they claimed that he was involved in encroaching on temple lands.

In another shocking incident from Kaligiri Mandal in Nellore district, Venkateswar Reddy alleged that YSRCP leaders were conspiring to seize his land, which he has held for over 30 years. He revealed that his crops had been destroyed in raids that took place under the cover of night, which he believes was part of a coordinated effort to grab his property.

Farmers in Nadikudi village of Dachepalli Mandal in Palnadu district said that compensation for their lands acquired for the NH-16 expansion project is still pending, an issue that has adversely affected their livelihood and well-being.

Bhaskar Reddy of Penumantri Mandal in West Godavari district said that local officials were involved in connivance with YSRCP leaders to grab his land illegally.

The program was attended by key officials such as Tribal Welfare Minister Sandya Rani and RUDA Chairman Boddu Venkataramana, who listened attentively to the grievances raised by the citizens. In response, officials assured the public that prompt action would be taken on all the complaints.

TDP leaders have committed to addressing the concerns raised by the affected individuals and have promised to provide necessary support through the proper channels to ensure justice is served.
