CID seeks seven Days custody of senior IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu In APPSC case

The AP CID filed a petition in the court seeking seven days custody of senior IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu and another accused in the case Dhatri Madhu. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the judge adjourned the further hearing on Friday.

Moreover, PSR Anjneyulu was produced in court by the police in the same case on Thursday, after the end of his remand period. He is A1 in this case. The court issued an order extending his remand till June 5.

Meanwhile, it is known that the police have arrested PSR on a PT warrant and registered a case in the case related to irregularities in the evaluation of papers in the APPSC Group-1 examinations. When PSR worked as the APPSC Secretary between 2018- 2019, there were serious allegations of irregularities in the evaluation of Group-1 Mains exam answer sheets and misuse of funds.

As a result, the police registered a case against PSR on April 29. In this case, PSR is A1 and Dhatri Madhu is A2. PSR filed a petition in the Vijayawada court seeking bail in this case.. m but the court rejected it. Due to this, he approached the High Court. He stated in the petition that all the allegations made by the police against him were baseless.

He made it clear that the manual evaluation of Group-1 answer sheets has been undertaken in accordance with the High Court’s orders. The case will come up for hearing on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Vijayawada First Additional Junior Civil Judge Court Magistrate Devika rejected the bail petition filed by Pamidikalva Madhusudhan (Dhatri Madhu), who was  arrested in the Group-1 case and is in the Vijayawada district jail. On the other hand, the court has extended the remand of IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu in the Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani case until next month 4.
