Tollywood legendary filmmaker K. Viswanath who is known for his directorial masterpieces passed away on Thursday night. At the age of 92, the renowned filmmaker breathed his last at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
As we know that K.Viswanath has been suffering from age-related issues for a long time. Upon hearing the saddening news, many celebrities from the south film industry have arrived at the veteran filmmaker’s residence to offer their last rites.
Megastar Chiranjeevi who arrived with his brother-in-law and the popular producer Allu Arvind paid his last respects to Viswanath and even interacted with the media. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan also visited the renowned filmmaker’s house along with Trivikram to pay his final respects.
Apart from the mega heroes, star celebrities like S. S. Rajamouli, M. M. Keeravani, Brahmanandam, senior actor Kota Srinivasa Rao, Radhika Sarathkumar and many others also offered their respects to the legend.
Expressing shock and grief over the sudden demise of Viswanath garu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to his official Twitter page and wrote- ‘I am saddened by the demise of Mr. K. Vishwanath. He is a giant in the world of cinema, a creative director and a multi-talented man who has created a special place for himself in the world of cinema. His films on various themes have entertained audiences for decades.’
