Monday, March 24, 2025

Jana Sena Party chief and Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan stated that the people of the state ensured a decisive victory for the NDA alliance, securing 164 out of 175 assembly seats and 21 parliamentary constituencies. He emphasized that the government is committed to steering the state towards development.

Addressing a public meeting in Pudicherla village, Orvakal mandal, Kurnool district, after performing a groundbreaking ceremony for a farm pond, Pawan Kalyan credited the success of the *Palle Panduga* festival to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. He reiterated that Chandrababu’s vision and experience are essential for the state’s progress and expressed his desire for him to serve as Chief Minister for 15 years.

Highlighting water scarcity in Rayalaseema, he stated that despite heavy rainfall, the region lacks adequate water storage facilities. The government has set a target to complete 1.55 lakh farm ponds by May, ensuring that they capture sufficient rainwater to make one TMC of water available. He stressed the need to transform Rayalaseema into a prosperous region, aligning with the vision of Sri Krishnadevaraya.

Pawan Kalyan further stated that the government achieved a world record by conducting 13,326 village meetings in a single day to formulate a development agenda. He noted that 97.44 lakh workers from 52.92 lakh families were provided employment within their native villages.

Criticizing the previous YSRCP government, he pointed out that only 4,000 roads were built in five years, whereas the NDA government has already constructed nearly 4,000 km of roads in just eight months. He added that road connectivity, electricity, drinking water, and other basic infrastructure have been provided in tribal villages with populations exceeding 100.
