#CBNArrest: CBN’s advocates files a review petition in HC

The Telugu Desam Party Chief Chandrababu Naidu’s advocates have filed a review petition in the High Court challenging the ACB court’s order to remand Chandrababu Naidu in the Skill Development Scam case.

As we all know, the ACB court has given the order to send Chandrababu Naidu to judicial custody for 14 days. He was immediately shifted to Rajamahendravaram jail despite his lawyers lodging a petition seeking house arrest instead of jail for the former chief minister. CBN’s lawyers have put forward concerns regarding his age, health, and security to which the AAG( Additional Advocate General) argued stating that the Rajamahendravaram’s jail is fully equipped with a medical facility and safeguarded with a 24/7 monitoring system. The AAG also opined that it’s better for Naidu to stay in jail rather than consider anything else. The arguments are still going on regarding this.

The TDP advocates in the meanwhile have filed a review petition in the High Court regarding this and have to wait and see how the High Court responds over this.
