Chandrababu Visits Budameru Flood-Affected Areas, Criticizes YSRCP Government

Tuesday, November 12, 2024
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu visited the flood-affected regions of Budameru today, where he criticized the previous government’s negligence for the damage caused in the area. Chandrababu attributed the flooding to the YSRCP’s failure to take necessary precautions, claiming their inaction led to the current situation. He also blamed five years of mismanagement for disrupting the lives of over 600,000 people in the state.
While acknowledging the positive response from individuals and organizations providing financial and material aid to the victims in Vijayawada, Chandrababu accused the YSRCP of spreading misinformation about the relief efforts. He also alleged that during the floods, three boats were left abandoned in the Krishna River, which could have caused significant damage to the barrage columns if not for their collision with counterweights. Chandrababu assured that those responsible for such negligence would be held accountable.
