Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, who visited his constituency Kuppam first time after electing from here eight times as MLA, turned emotional and he bowed his head congratulating all people of the constituency for keeping faith in him. Recalling they elected him eight times continuously, he said if he was born again he wanted to be born as a baby here only.
Stating that Kuppam constituency is the laboratory of his political journey, he said they are supporting him whether he visits frequently or not. However, he assured them that he will take all care for the overall development of the constituency, giving priority to youth, women and weaker sections. Above all, he said social justice will be the main thread.
He recalled that 8 BCs were inducted into his cabinet. Chandrababu said that he has chosen this constituency to develop the most backward area and already has done many development programs. Referring to the YSRCP regime, he said it was a nightmare and he had never seen such an arrogant leader.
He asserted that Kuppam is a peaceful place and there is no place for violence. He warned that if anyone tries to resort to rowdyism here that will be their last day. He deplored that there was no development for the last five years.
He assured to lay outer ring road and modern roads, besides developing four mandal headquarters as model towns. He promised to provide tapped drinking water, drainage and street lights in every village of the constituency.
The Chief Minister said that warehouses will be built to store agricultural produce at a low cost and promised to set up a market for the farmers who grow flowers. He said soon he will arrange a meeting with fruit and vegetable farmers and will work out an airport at Kuppam to transport fruits and vegetables through cargo services, even to foreign countries.
He also promised to bring Electric buses to the constituency. Chandrababu made it clear that his ambition is to make women stand on their own feet and that there should be no poverty in any family. There is a possibility, he said, that Kuppam will become a railway junction in the future and V. Kota- Palamaner road should be converted into four lanes.
Textiles and food processing industries will be brought and the administration in Dravidian University will be put in a groove. He said that the constituency will be converted into a prominent educational center and the buildings of Kuraba, Balija and Valmiki will be completed.
