Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has started the exercise of announcing the second list of nominated posts to the activists of coalition partners in a week. TDP sources say that the posts in the second list will be two to three times more than the posts announced in the first list.
There are up to 50 caste corporations in the state, out of which 30-35 posts will be filled in this phase. Along with these, appointments will be made for some other corporation posts. Along with the TDP, the coalition partner parties will give priority to Jana Sena and BJP leaders in the corporation posts.
CM Chandrababu Naidu has spent five to six hours in the secretariat on Wednesday. An announcement is likely to be made within the assembly sessions to be held from 11th of this month. Due priority will be given to those who have worked hard for the party.
Already, leaders and activists have submitted hundreds of applications to the party offices. It is understood that priority will be given to BCs, who constitute more than half of the population. There are 56 BC corporations in the state. Along with the chairmen of these corporations, 12 members are likely to be appointed for each corporation.
In addition, the government has decided to set up additional corporations for some castes. As part of this, a goldsmith corporation has already been set up. In addition to giving posts to BCs, steps will be taken to provide self-employment opportunities to the respective castes by providing funds to the respective corporations.
The posts will be distributed after discussing with the alliance leaders. It seems that Chandrababu wants the distribution to be done in the same manner as there has been no dissatisfaction or disagreement regarding the nominated posts filled so far.
It has been decided to distribute who is capable for which posts. It seems that the list was prepared by talking to the MLAs, ministers and leaders of all levels of the party of the respective districts and preparing a preliminary list. It is reported that after giving posts, the personal details of the respective leaders were also collected without any room for criticism.
