Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lamented that people like Jaganmohan Reddy, who kiss people and wash their hands ten times after entering the house, are unfit for politics. He wondered over Jagan’s advice that a Chief Minister need not go out during calamities.
He ridiculed that a person who does not know the difference between a tomato and a potato and a river and a stream is the former chief minister. Chandrababu sarcastically said that all Jagan knew was to sit by the box in the evening and see how much was collected.
Chandrababu accused Jagan of going on the red carpet and inspecting the loss while in power. He said that now Jagan was forced to land in the mud, because as Chief Minister he is walking in the mud. “If I do not get down in the mud, will the authorities get down? Do I have the right to let them go? Then what about the people? Who will go to them?”, he asked.
“Did Jagan care when there were floods in the past? Now, the authorities reacted quickly because I went. Does someone who does not know the difference between a river and a stream criticize my performance? Where is Budameru, where is my house? He foolishly said that I opened Budameru gates as if my house would sink?”, he wondered.
Chief Minister Chandrababu said that people are rejecting Jagan who wants to do selfish politics in floods also. He recalled that people started questioning him when he came to console them, asking what he did for them when he was in power. That is the public awareness, he added.
He called for banishment of evil minded people from public life. Chandrababu suggested that Jagan should realize that it is not possible to deceive the people like in the past. He deplored that it is our misfortune to have a person like Jagan in politics. Jagan, who is used to a luxurious life, does not know the hardships of the people and he is going to London because he has no work, he said..
