Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that YCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy resorted to `Delhi drama’ only to run away from the Assembly session. Discussing with party MPs on the political scenario, he said that Jagan does not have the courage to face the facts in the white paper of the government on peace and security.
He lamented that violent incidents were taking place in the state because of the culture of ganja and drugs fostered by Jagan’s regime. Chandrababu said that the YSRCP leaders also admitted that the murder of Rashid in Vinukonda of Palnadu district was due to the influence of ganja.
He advised that all TDP leaders should maintain restraint with regard to law and order in the state and counter YCP’s false propaganda effectively.
He expressed anger that Jagan had emptied the entire treasury. He criticized that he diverted all the funds to one or two corporations. He said that let us all to take the challenge of the development of the state in a constructive way.
Meanwhile, Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party leader Lau Srikrishna Devaraya asked Jagan to give the details of 35 people who were allegedly killed during the last 40 days. He alleged that Jagan is propagating complete untruths.
He strongly objected that Jagan is giving a political color to the Vinukonda incident, which was a clash between groups. There was a clash between these two groups for the last two and half years, he added. He lamented that Telugu Desam leaders were the victims of four political murders in AP so far.
He asked party MPs to counter Jagan’s evil propaganda at the Delhi platform. He reminded that the AP government is giving high priority to the maintenance of law and order.
It may be recalled that Jaganmohan Reddy has announced to hold a dharna in Delhi on July 24 demanding president’s rule in the state and protesting against lack of law and order in the state. He is also seeking appointments of the President and Prime Minister to complain against Chandrababu Naidu’s government.
