Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu lamented that the state was destroyed during five-year YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s anarchetic regime, and said several questions like “Who killed Babai?” (YS Vivekananda Reddy’s murder case) will be answered very soon.
Speaking in the AP Assembly on the motion thanking Governor Abdul Nazri’s address to the joint session, he deplored that all the systems were destroyed during Jagan’s regime. He recalled how Viveka’s murder took many turns and the CI who went to the scene after the murder was ready to report the matter to the CBI.
He alleged that the previous government misused the power and promoted the CI. He recalled that the investigating CBI officer was forced to obtain bail from the High Court after a case was filed against him. He asked what police can do in a situation where the culprit is the Chief Minister and CBI staff returned after failing to arrest the main accused in the case?
Chandrababu Naidu said that due to the financial difficulties that have arisen in the state as a result of five years of destruction, there is a situation where even the budget cannot be made. He thanked the Prime Minister and the Union Finance Minister in the Assembly for recognizing the needs of the state.
He felt happy that both of them have focused on the industrial sectors of APand Polavaram. He said that cooperation for the development of backward areas would help in the reconstruction of AP and appreciated the Center for presenting a budget that would boost the confidence of the state.
Chandrababu said that the results of the election on June 4 were proof of public consciousness and explained that the strike rate was 93 percent and the votes for the alliance were 57 percent. Chandrababu said that no political party has seen such results in his political life and said that a lot of effort has been put into this level of success.
He recalled that he had faced a lot of difficulties in the last five years and Pawan Kalyan visited him while he was in jail. Pawan came forward with only one intention not to split the vote at a difficult time, and first Pawan said that TDP and Janasena will work together for the interests of the state, and after the two met, BJP also came forward. He said that when the three parties met, the results that no one expected came. He asserted three of them will move forward together until the state is developed again.
