TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has expressed happiness over the large scale turnout of Telugu people from neighbouring states and also other countries to exercise their vote on Monday.
After exercising his vote in Undavalli polling booth along with his wife Nara Bhuvaneswari, son Nara Lokesh and daughter-in-law Nara Brahmani, he told media persons that during his 45 years of political life he had never seen such a large number of Telugu people from other places coming to their native places only to exercise their vote.
He observed this determination among Telugu people only reflecting winds of change in the state and people’s strong persuasion seeking change to put the state on the development track. This also reflects how all sections of people felt victimized and betrayed during the last five years, he added.
He said that Telugu voters living in cities like Hyderabad and Bengaluru are also coming to AP in large numbers and exercising their right to vote. Moreover, a large number of Telugu people from other countries also never happened, he said.
Meanwhile, Chandrababu Naidu focused on monitoring TDP activists all over the state to focus on the polling process conducting a teleconference with party leaders and booth level activists. A total of 64,000 party workers participated in the teleconference, which took place at 4 am on Monday.
During the teleconference, Chandrababu Naidu provided instructions on the precautions that need to be taken by the party’s agents during polling. He emphasized the need for vigilance against the ruling party and urged YSR Congress Party to put an end to any attempts at anarchy.
Naidu also raised concerns about fake videos and letters being circulated by the YSR Congress Party out of fear of defeat. He urged everyone to take responsibility for increasing voter turnout and to report any issues to the party’s central war room immediately.
Additionally, Naidu assured that he would continue to monitor the election process and review the situation periodically. He advised all party members to remain alert until the polling is completed.
