After ten days, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has returned to his residence in Undavalli from the Vijayawada Collectorate. Moved by the suffering of flood victims in Vijayawada, the Chief Minister had vowed to remain at the Collectorate until relief efforts were complete. True to his word, he resided in a bus within the Collectorate premises for the duration of the flood relief operations.
Utilizing the Collectorate as his command center, Naidu continually mobilized the administration, delegating responsibilities to ministers and senior officials based on divisions. He coordinated with officials, public representatives, and voluntary organizations to distribute food packets and water bottles to thousands of affected individuals within hours.
The Chief Minister also personally inspected flood-affected areas, including those inaccessible by his convoy, using JCBs to reach submerged regions. He gathered real-time feedback from victims to expedite relief efforts, deploying helicopters and drones to ensure timely delivery of food and drinking water.
Chief Minister Naidu celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi and a wedding anniversary at the Collectorate, expressing gratitude to all involved in the flood relief operations.
