Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu promised potential investors that the state government will implement friendly industrial policy for the development of the state. Interacting at a meeting with CEOs of many companies at the Business Center in Sri City on Monday, he said that due to his government’s pro-active policy, the confidence of industrialists towards Andhra Pradesh is growing day by day.
Earlier, he inaugurated activities of 15 companies and laid the foundation stone for 7 companies. On this occasion, Japanese companies complained that they are facing difficulties in making investments as the previous regime in the state has not fulfilled promises made by the government. However, Chandrababu Naidu assured them that he will solve all the problems of companies.
Naidu said that his government has been formulating policies keeping in view on the need to attract investments to the state. He assured that the government is ready to resolve if they are facing any problems. They can directly bring forward their issues with the authorities, he said. He said that he is thinking of providing incentives towards investments in the state.
Chandrababu said that industrialists are creating employment and wealth. The revenue the government gets from industries will be used for the welfare of the people, he added. He said that industrial zones have been established in 8,000 acres in Sri City. SEZ, Domestic Zone and Free Trade Zone have been established. He said there is a possibility of setting up 220 more companies.
Representatives from as many as 30 companies met Chandrababu Naidu at Sri City. He said that Sri City has now attracted an investment of 4.5 billion dollars, which is a very commendable performance in the country.
The CM reminded that he has visited many countries for investments and predicted long back that India will emerge as a major center in the IT market and also for the first time in the country Hi-tech city has been built in Hyderabad under PPP system.
