It is known that party leaders and officials are queuing up at the residence of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to meet him. However, on Thursday, several IPS officers were stopped by Chandrababu’s security personnel and sent back from the gate as they were not allowed entry. These officers included CID chief Sanjay, former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu, and senior IPS officer Kolli Raghurami Reddy.
CID chief Sanjay, who had attempted to go abroad after taking leave following the election results, arrived at Chandrababu’s residence on Thursday. The security personnel at the Karakattu gate politely informed him that they had come to meet Chandrababu and notified higher authorities. However, after receiving a response that he was not permitted to meet the Chief Minister, Sanjay was sent back.
On Thursday morning, former intelligence chief PSR Anjaneyulu also reached Chandrababu’s residence in Undavalli but was similarly stopped by the staff and told he was not allowed to meet Chandrababu. With no other options, PSR Anjaneyulu left the premises. Senior IPS officer Kolli Raghurami Reddy sought an appointment with Chandrababu over the phone, but his request was rejected, and his attempt to meet the future CM failed.
It should be noted that these three senior officials have been accused of serious misconduct during the assembly elections and were sacked by the Election Commission for allegedly favoring the YSRCP. They were removed from their priority posts and reassigned to other departments. PSR Anjaneyulu was dismissed by the Election Commission for allegedly working unofficially for the YSRCP. Additionally, Kolli Raghurami Reddy played a crucial role in the arrest of Chandrababu in Nandyal.
